Our rally at Ilkley RFC 5th– 10th August was a great success with 58 vans in total attending – 48 from Yorkshire, 3 Essex, 1 Anglia, 1 NWMNW, 1 East Mids, 3 Northern Counties, 1 Lancs.
The Host was our Rally Officer Chris with help from Nigel Pamplin and Malcolm Core who were responsible for the parking up.
Wednesday, we had use of the room so games etc were played.
Thursday and Friday most made good use of the pleasant weather and enjoyed walks around Ilkley, shopping and even venturing into the open-air lido, some caught the bus to Skipton
Saturday we had a tabletop sale which was very popular and as it was our rally officers last Rally we had a gathering around her van at 4pm to celebrate her 3 yrs with drinks and nibbles provided by her to say thank you for the help, support and encouragement over her tenure.
Saturday was a busy night with raffle, bingo and quizzes.
Sunday morning we had a coffee morning and an evening of music quizzes
