Eighteen members vans joined our rally, including the hosts Nigel & Jan Pamplin – 16 from Yorkshire, one Lancashire and one Northern Counties. A breezy start to the first day but many joined the hosts for dingbats and quizes in the evening.
Saturday we had an early coffee morning due to weather on Sunday not looking good – some members walked to the Shawl, a well known in Leyburn, and others join Malcolm Collins on a 5k walk around the river and back into town – where welcome refreshments were consumed. Quizzes and games were played in the evening.
Sunday saw a few members leave but others enjoyed another walk – finished by a carvery lunch at the Bolton Arms. Sunday evening we had a game of ‘Left, Right & Centre’ and another quiz.
