2026 Apr – Hawes

The vans came from far and wide on Friday and Saturday.  Hawes is a very popular place. We parked up at Hawes Auction Mart only minutes from the town centre. On the Friday evening we had a couple of quizzes and cheese tasting. There were many different flavours in the Wenslydale cheeses, ginger, mango, pickled onion, to name but a few.

On Saturday there was a walk over the Buttertubs, many joined the walked and a few dogs had a good walk too.

On Saturday evening we all gathered in the room with games and a quiz, along with celebrating Bob Muskett’s Birthday. His cake was shared with everyone.

There were 31 Yorkshire vans attending this weekend rally, 1 from Northern Counties, 1 from Lancashire and 1 from North West Midlands and North Wales.

Many thanks to hosts Carol and Malcolm Core
